Packaging

Environmental impact is an important subject for Gardners, as well as our customers. Gardners are listening, and we are announcing the use of new packaging with a lower environmental impact.

New boxes and packaging

The new packaging significantly reduces the amount of paper packing paper and airbags we require for your orders. The new boxes continue to use 100% recycled high grade boxes, produced in a carbon neutral facility to full FSC compliance

Making the box fit the product

Gardners new boxes compact down, offering not only a notable decrease in the amount of packing paper and airbags, but also a significant reduction in plastic usage from tape.

Pallet wrap enviromental savings

Gardners will now reduce our environmental impact, saving 13.1 tonnes per annum in CO2 emissions, by switching to 12mm plastic to wrap our pallets.

By using less box filler we predict an annual saving of

The tape reduction from our new packaging saves an. average of

81.5% on the use of plastic on each box

By switching to a new plastic wrap for our pallets we will be saving the equivalent of

Gardners o?ers a complete service for retailers, giving them the option to purchase from a single supplier for all of their stock as opposed to multiple suppliers, who in turn ship separately.

Reducing waste to landfill

For over ten years we've reduced our landfill collections to six per month. We send our non-recyclable, compacted waste to N ewhaven's Energy Recovery Facility.

This facility recovers heat energy from waste and sends it straight to the national grid instead of dumping it in a landfill.
