A Gardners Initiative for UK Independant Bookshops
Hive is a unique and innovative consumer facing website, working collaboratively with Independent Bookshops. Consumers can buy books, eBooks, entertainment products and non-book items from the site, all of which are Gardners stock-line items.
Hive orders can be delivered to the customers home, or they can arrange to collect the order next day from their local bookshop. Gardners deliver the orders to the bookshop, this promotes a quick way for consumers to order, and encourages footfall into your bookshops.
Every transaction that goes through Hive generates a commission that is given to a Hive bookshop. When a consumer places an order, at the point of checking out they can select the bookshop they would like their commission to go to, if they do not select a shop, it geographically goes to the nearest postcode. Bookshops receive a monthly statement from Hive outlining the orders and their commission, and their commission is given to them in the form of a credit on their Gardners account.
Our support team are ready to sign you up for the hive network. There are no joining fees, all we require is an active trading account with Gardners.

The BA conference is sponserred by Gardners, allowing booksellers to attend for free. The conference o?ers both informative business programmes and entertaining social programmes with valuable networking opportunities. In attendance are a variety of speakers from the book trade and beyond. From high profile author speakers to workshops for booksellers to exchange ideas and share skills, there is something for everyone.
