The Books Are My Bag Readers Awards are one of a kind. They're the only book awards with shortlists curated by bookshops, and winners voted for by readers like you!

This year's seven shortlists included a new Picture Book category, and spanned fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and books for children and teens, with a Newcomer of the Year award to celebrate the newly published authors and illustrators making the biggest waves.
